A new record number of hugely passionate car clubs has registered to participate in the massive public showcase of timeless brands and models in this summer's Silverstone Classic (26-28 July 2019)

The turnout of 128 clubs last year has already been exceeded because there are already 136 registered clubs! These clubs will present their most beautiful vehicles during this event. So the members of these clubs can take advantage of the special packages that are offered and form an integral part of the world's largest retro-race festival.

Members of these registered clubs - a simple online process that is open until the end of the month (May) - are offered a fantastic package with a pre-sale ticket that includes not only two cards for general access for adults, but also a card for display of the infield vehicle, so that those arriving in classic cars can park at the assigned stand of their club and be part of the spectacular infield show.

Last summer, more than 10,000 private classics were exhibited in the heart of the three-day extravaganza, giving 100,000 visitors an incredible showcase of the beloved car history ... a number that is now likely to be exceeded in July.

Tickets of car clubs for Saturday are sold out well before the deadline of 31 May - a limit on each type of ticket is required due to the complex logistics associated with accommodating so many car clubs in the available space in such a full festival weekend - Still a limited number of Friday, Sunday and weekend (both two and three day) packages are on sale, subject to availability, until the deadline of 31 May.

With such an enormous turnout it is no surprise that the record total of registered clubs ensures that all big brands are well represented again. Aston Martin, BMW, Ferrari, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Lotus, Morgan, Porsche and Triumph are all well represented and this year they are accompanied by a number of new recruits. One of these important newcomers is Vintage Racing Ouest Motorsport - its members bring a collection of around 20 eye-catching cars from France.

Capri and mini clubs are also striking additions, because they mark the 50th and 60th volumes of their respective model in an impressive style with the Classic. To further underline the international appeal of the festival, one Capri will be driven all the way from Warsaw.

In addition to celebrating major Capri and Mini milestones, this year also celebrates the 100th anniversary of Bentley. Abarth also has big plans to celebrate her 70th birthday in July.

Many of the clubs present not only benefit from the special display packages that are offered, but can also be invited to pay tribute to key marque and model milestones with special anniversary parades. In recent years, during the weekend of the Classic, the famous circuit of Silverstone Grand Prix has organized record parades with evocative E-type Jaguars, fantastic Ferrari F40s, spicy Porsche 911s, breathtaking Jaguar XJ220s and magnificent McLaren supercars.

In total, more than 40 course parades were held between races, in a packed schedule of retro races. The notable selection includes standouts such as the Austin Healey 3000, BMW Z1, De Tomaso, Fiat Coupe, Honda S2000, Mazda MX-5, Middlebridge Scimitar and Triumph TR6. While the packages for the car clubs are available until the end of May, visitors who want to visit this world's biggest classic festival can buy their tickets until midnight on Thursday 25 July.
